Hi, I’m Emily!
In the early 90’s, a little stray dog and I happened upon each other and my life was forever changed… for the better. His name was Linus. Linus was one of those dogs that you see around and get jealous of their human for having such a well-trained dog. Not surprisingly, Linus was one in a million and none of my other dogs have been anywhere near as easy. In 2018 I adopted the most challenging (and wonderful!) dog that I’ve had yet. She has led me to dig deeply to learn how to be an effective dog parent.
That learning has included many hours of volunteering at dog rescues, fostering dogs in my home, studying various training methods and helping friends and adoptive dog parents to learn how to connect with and enjoy living with their dogs. Let’s Go! East Bay Pack Walks is my way of sharing that knowledge with my clients and giving something back to those wonderful creatures that give us so much. We are about so much more than just exercise, we are about helping you, your family and your dog have the best experience together through structured exercise, training, and reinforcement.

Our Services
ON-LEASH STRUCTURED GROUP WALKS -$35/Walk
A structured group walk is an important tool that you can use to address various challenges you may be experiencing with your dog. These walks improve leash manners, and can reduce reactivity. Structured walks reinforce a calm state of mind, build confidence, and providing for focused socialization that is pack-based and not play based.
Every day, we change our locations, providing ample opportunity for your dog to navigate through potentially stressful situations. These include crowds, loud sounds like buses, garbage trucks, and construction noises, as well as passing other dogs, bikes, skateboards, and other common disruption found in urban settings.
-Service area includes Montclair, Piedmont, Rockridge, and Oakland Hills.
-Pickup and Dropoff included.
-Varying environments, structured walks, and training reinforcement.
-Dogs will be dropped back at home after about 2 hours with a solid 60 minute walk. The pack will have up to 6 dogs and we go out Monday- Friday.
training - $150/ 1hr. session
Working on leash reactivity, pulling, anxiety, and other issues while on leash as well as behavioral issues inside or outside the home.

“Emily walks our two dogs, Hope and Piper. One dog is super easy-going and the other one is pretty anxious and doesn’t like new people coming to our house. Sure enough, Emily won over our difficult dog immediately. Emily is more than just a dog walker, she takes our dogs on long hikes, trains her dog pack to behave well greeting other dogs and people people on trail and trains dogs with other behavior like recall. Emily the owner of let’s go pack walks is amazing. My puppy, Lola wasn’t trained or used to being around other dogs and Emily helped us with both. She also took Lola on amazing hikes so when our pup came home she was exhausted and tired the rest of the day. Emily is also very kind and loving and she will treat your dog like her own. I highly recommend her!

When Bodie sees Emily coming, he runs to the door and whines to go out to meet her. His time with her is clearly the highlight of his day...and mine, as after every outing, my very happy guy comes home ready for a long nap. As a rescue, Bodie’s past is a mystery, and Emily invested time and effort into getting to know and understand him as he transitioned into our family and into her care. The trust they have built feels special - she clearly cares about Bodie and he loves her as much as, if not more than, his 24/7 family. Bodie came to us as 1.5 year old dog with no idea how to function in a home, on a leash, or in social situations; Emily has worked hard not only to help him develop new skills and trust, but she has also taken her personal time to give me advice about how to work with him given the particulars of our family set-up and routine. We trust Emily implicitly; she comes and goes as needed, and has full access to our house whether or not we are home. She has been an amazing gift to us and to Bodie!
